Open Heinzman Shows

 General Information
|
- These
shows are open to ALL Heinzman dancers
- Before
attending, please make sure it is ok with your teacher to sign up for
each show
- Attendance
to these shows is purely voluntary – however, if you sign up to
attend, we expect you to show up!
- Participation
at these shows (unless otherwise noted) means:
- You
show up on time (the arrival time)
- You
are in full costume – including make-up and hair
- You
will have fun!
- TIPS:
- Put
on everything except your dress and dance shoes at home –
make-up, wig, socks, sock-glue, spankies,
…
- Wear
something comfortable that your can easily slip off and on before and
after the show (such as a sweatsuit)
- Have
costume and dance shoes on, and be ready to dance at the
“arrival” time
- Keep
in mind that most of these venues will NOT have a dressing room, and
you may have to change into and out of your costume in a hallway or
something.
- Shows
are often put together on the spot, so think about the steps you want
to dance and be sure to raise your hand when the teacher/coordinator
asks who wants to do which dance.
